Everyday goods for stylish grown ups
AN OPEN STUDIO OF CLOTHING, HOMEWARES AND DREAMS
We sell homewares, clothing, food, drink, books, vintage and dreams. And we do it in a unique way that no one else can imitate. There are six shops in this tiny department store, each stuffed with interesting and original products; things that speak eloquently of passion, originality, beauty and longevity.
Caroline and I have been making and selling things for over 40 years. First for other people (Laura Ashley and Warner Bros) and then, starting with Pedlars, for our own companies.
And yet we have never had a single, focused place that pulls them all together.
Until now that is. It’s called Gladstone’s Luxury Dry Goods.

Other Goods
Because we are addicted to buying and selling vintage, we’re offering some really lovely things here. There are a few books as well.
“We are creating spaces that are willfully old-fashioned and analogue, and we hope that as such it will delight visitors who can look around, hang out, flick through books, see what we do, buy stuff, not buy stuff, type up a letter, fiddle with things.”
