Glen Dye Honey
Our family have been making honey at Glen Dye for nearly 200 years. Really, this is as good an environment for bees as you’ll get, there are thousands of acres of heather, improved grassland, woodland and more.
This is therefore wonderful honey; which is gently warmed to make it runny and then put in a spinner to extract the honey from the comb. Then this then simply filtered to remove any small pieces of wax and debris, before being poured into jars. That’s it. Minimum processing/maximum goodness.
The beekeeper is Sarah Leahy.
