This is our own honey, infused with chillis. It makes an excellent and versatile sweet/spicy addition to all sorts of dishes, from pizzas to chicken, tapas to toast.

Our family have kept bees in the fields and orchards of Hawarden for centuries. Here we  nurture hundreds of acres of orchards, meadows and mature woodland that haven’t seen a drop of artificial fertiliser during that time.

There are a lot of bees here. And they seem happy.

Bees don’t do it all on their own though, they need a good beekeeper. For the past seven years ours have been looked after by local maestro and all-round nice guy Laurence, who is involved in every aspect of the process of producing this wonderful product. This honey is unpasteurised, is coarsely filtered and is never heated above hive temperature. It has been our best-selling product in the farm shop, a stone’s throw from our hives, for many years.
