The point of this tiny range of goods is to create things that we truly, genuinely believe in and that we would use at Glen Dye and -crucially- in every other place that we go. It seems to Caroline and I that the perfect design is everyday design, things that can be used in multiple circumstances.

We want this range to be absolutely true; true to our taste, truly useful, stylish and well made.

We don’t need to do this range, we just want to. Does that make sense?

The photographs here will, we hope, underline that having been shot on proper film and reminding us deeply of the holidays that we both so enjoyed at Glen Dye before we moved here (a long time ago!).

I love clothes -Caroline does too- and we think that every good outfit begins with trousers (unless you’re wearing a skirt, kilt or whatever, obvs).

These are cut for men and for women, and the aim is to create something that is just right; grown up, stylish, elegant, chic but never fashiony. Practical, cool, wide but not too wide (sorry, but I cannot believe that anyone still wears skinny trousers).

The cotton is woven in Huddersfield by masters-in-their-class Dugdale Bros. There are two deep side pockets, a back pocket and side straps that work properly, keeping the front clean and negating the need for a belt. Zip front.

We both love these and wear them a lot. You will be as happy with them as we are.
